I'd recommend rendering the video to about 480p, but it looks nice. The method I would use now though, is with Camtasia; it looks perfect, as if you were playing it. Good rendering softwares are Camtasia Studio and Sony Vegas, or the one I use, Cyberlink Powerdirector, although that's mostly for HD vids. Camtasia I would definitely recommend if you are not satisfied with SNES9x quality, but HD really is not necessary.

Even though I used Snes9x on a Windows emulator, ZSNES doesn't come with its own built-in recorder.

LOL I've been recording with SNES9x for years. I just render the video to 720p.
