Deckers Creek Rail to Trail runs 18 miles from Reedsville and Arbordale in Preston County down to Morgantown, WV. The trail gradually loses 900 ft. in elevation from 1720 ft. in Reedsville to 820 ft in Morgantown. The trail is crushed limestone except in Morgantown where it is paved. You ride through Greer limestone mine, cow pastures, along Deckers Creek and its many waterfalls, and into Morgantown's downtown park. Arbordale at the head of the trail has a great museum area dedicated to when it was created as a New Deal town by the Roosevelts. The trail is great for both hiking and biking. The music is by The Halftime String Band
