@cultrapture Have you considered that It's because of his faith that his music is so damn beautiful, or did you miss that? You should learn not to judge his music by any personal beliefs, (I don't care if he worships Donald Duck) or do you enjoy the same petty treatment for whatever stupid things you happen to believe in?

listening to this song while watching the sunset by the beach is dangerously emotive. but it's worth it.

Too bad they're such God freaks.

How will I lay down in green grass fields when my soul is so afraid to.. rejoice..?
Nothing more to say..

The Johnny Cash song(couldn't find the first one) is really sad, although I'd still say this is sadder. Although, I have found a song that I think is sadder than this. Empire! Empire! (I was a Lonely Estate)- How To Stay Afloat in a Sea of Chanfe. I don't I've ever been as affected by music. That song is heart-breaking, I'll try and get it on Youtube.

i'll give you two, both covers: The Fire Show's version of "You are my sunshine," and Johnny Cash's version of (Will Oldham's) "I see a darkness."
i love this song and this band, but i think they're straight up emo - which for me means more bittersweet and nostalgic than actually sad.

Honestly, one of the best album closers ever
