There is actually very little cleaning to be done as the ingredients are added directly into the baking pan, which is non-stick coated. If done according to the instructions, the actual cleaning only involves cleaning up the baking pan.

Yes sure. This machine definitely bakes cake as well: Chocolate cake, Banana Nut Cake, Apple n Raisin Cake, Corn Meal Bread, etc. It has a built in cake baking course/mode. Apart from Bread and cake, it can also be used to prepare Cookie and pasta dough and even jam. Just add the ingredients, set to the right course and it will prepare the dough or the Jam for you.
