CRYSIS on Nvidia G102M

This is Crysis running on Asus K50IN laptop

Game Settings:
800x600
everything medium except shadows (low)

Fraps shows 17 - 32 fps on these settings. The average framerate is about 20-23 fps, so it is quite comfortable to play.

hey i have the same laptop but when i play crysis on 800x600 everything on low no AA i get 15-30 fps and on medium its unplayable. did you update your drivers...

i think i have the latest drivers + maybe your laptop configuration differs. you can check my channel for my laptop configuration

If you use vista on the K50IN your video ram gets accelerated to 2GB. I have vista installed and when i type "dxdiag" in run it shows me 2GB of VRAM when i only have 512MB of VRAM. not sure how much of an impact that has on games

I use Win XP and actually video memory size is not that important, its all about core speeds, memory type, technology ( 65nm or less ) and so on... correct me if i wrong. switch to Win7 ;)

thats sick, i was reading reviews on this card and people said it was shit for gaming. they are wrong, it kicks ass for the price it costs. i just purchesed a computer with that card in it, and it runs COD 4,5,6 well. its not the best, but for the amount of money NVIDIA is asking for it, its a steal.

I have a dual-boot XP and 7 on my K40IN,

XP for gaming and 7 for everything else..

XP gives me more FPS when gaming than on 7.

ok that is bullshit, i would say thats fake cuz i has same labtop.(exactly same) and man i get 20-10 fps everything on low and graphics card with best ever tweaks. :P that aint a k50in labtop. (maybe cuz i has windows 7 instead of xp)

i won this game on acer extensa 5635zg 433g32mn with graphics nvidia geforce g105m. I must played on low resolution and low details and get average fps about 22.
