NS 2011 DVD preview

SpunjahChronic.com is now on DVD! Their first feature DVD "NS2011" is a video documenting various unique surf sessions during a Hawaii winter surf season. The video features top waveriders from around the world all in crisp HD video quality.

The film features real deal waves at Pipeline, Waimea Shorebreak, Off the Wall, MBoogie's perspective cinematography at Backdoor, and more. Filmed entirely on location in Oahu, Hawaii.

Heights Productions & Icebreaker Studios collaborated to put down a live soundtrack. DJ Bobby Ragu of Long Island, NY lays down a live 40 minute mixtape soundtrack. After studying the film DJ B.R. went into the studio and mixed the soundtrack in one shot. A blend of hip-hop, jazz, dubstep & reggae. Listen to the words in the music as it enhances the story about each particular surf session.
