Wow! Thank ayanavjackson for putting this up. Dr. Mbembe never ceases to amaze with his incisive critique of human condition in the postcolony and the relationship between constituents in that post-colonial space. Yes indeed we need an insurrection of language as a pre-condition to free language from all of its artificial, mostly psychical in orientation, encumbrances.
