The Blackthorn sank after colliding with the tanker Capricorn near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on Jan 28, 1980. Thanks for getting the video up this fast! I was there with the CGC William Flores for the Cutterman's Salute. The ceremony was amazing and I was honored to be apart of it this year. I hope to be invited back next year as well. Semper Paratus.
