  • It sure is easy to praise Japan as I've seen done by others, and I've done it myself. But with realising the fact that Japan has problems just like any country on this planet, it will be a lot easier to deal with it once you experience them. I've been there and it's amazing. My girlfriend is half japanese so I don't say it's bad. We're even gonna move there in the future.

But just try to be realistic about it :) ^^ It's not all manga, schoolgirls and sushi you know :P

  • Who cares?

    I want a cup head.

  • @Sunkan86 oh it is all about sushi i stab yOU! FOR SUSHI

  • In latin America there's a pop band called Menudo that's been around about thirty years or so and just like that Japanese group, when the boys start to become men they get the boot and a newer model comes in. Very weird practice but it's kept them popular.

  • You guys don't have a clue if you think Ross is a racist, he's crazy about Japan he loves them. Just because he said 'unlike in Britain' you think he's having a dig at Japan, well you are wrong. There are parts of Japanese culture like enjo kosai which is disgusting but that doesn't mean he hates all Japan.

  • I had no idea Hideaki Anno did live-action movies until now. I used to hate his Evangelion anime because its last few episodes were psychological mindfucks, but I eventually came to appreciate it over the years as I grew up.

As for Anno's "Love & Pop", it seems like it probably played a big role in Japan's law against compensation dating in 1999. The first-person camera shots are also interesting, because I've always had that same idea myself and wondered why filmmakers aren't using it.

  • @nero2kewl hes actualy a pretty big Otaku, but with the rules of the Uk and all, it was pretty hard for him to realy say what he meant with a lot.

  • @azariablack i'm not from the uk but johnathan ross is the man, i don't think he's racist. otherwise he would not have put so much time into this show.

  • School girls dating OLDER men for cash to buy things? Sugar daddy much?
