So I have a massive crush on this band, and I felt inspired to take random footage as I sat all bored-like in a car, and slapped some pictures in there, and voila.

It's kinda like a journey or something. =^.^+

  • I grew up in the 70s and LOVE this song. It always takes me back to simple days at the lake. No computers..tv at best was old reruns on a 13" black & white. But AM radio would blast out songs like this loud and clear...the sun was warm, the sky was blue, the air was clean...and everyone I loved was with me.

  • Driving with the windows rolled down feeling the morning breeze in your face just you and your music... thats life

  • One great song, reminds me when I was a kid living in Taipei, attending TAS! A great bunch of people, Tony Flowers, Clarence and Carl, Vince Coleman, Julie McDonald, Lisa Lee, Tom Cook and the gang!

  • one of the fans in the u.k. hot summers day in the beautiful lake district lying in the grass by lake grasmere where wordsworth lived. just on honeymoon. this song on radio non stop. very overlooked band over here.

  • @geels2484 check out my FB page - STUCK IN THE 70's then. I think you would enjoy it! I just started it this month 1/12 - so it's just getting going. :-)

  • This song reminds me of my trips to the Mojave Desert in January 1972. I was going to hunt elk in Montana that November. I had a fractured vertebra in my neck and could not practice with my big-talking .300 Weatherby, so I took a little .22 to the desert to shoot at targets. On the way back, I stopped at the Outpost in Victorville for fried chicken in my 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The guns and car are long sold and gone. Glory days.

  • Fantastic work :)

  • Actually this is a really cool vid...

  • Excellent, thanks PD

  • @inkey2 I can remember how the dudes who only listened to all the hard rock and metal would be silent while listening to this on AM radio....I don't remember any of those dudes saying "switch the station"...they just laid back and took it all in..."Horse With No Name"...was the same way...

  • very nice! thanks for sharing!

  • Flew out to see my son in LA - went on a road trip with him up to Yosemite Park, north on rte 5 - one of the overpasses on the way said "Ventura Highway" - that made my day by making me think of this song......
