My grandpa used to sing this all the time and I have been looking at for a video with the same version that he had but I can't find one that is the same although the only things that are different are a couple verses and names. I love this song but my mom would get embarrassed when I sang it when I was younger

we played this song at my grandma's wake and made verses about the people there. it was so much fun

About 50 years ago, in Daytona Beach there was a restuarant & bar. A man played piano there and he used to sing "7 Old Maids Locked in a Lavortry". This is the same song and I haven't heard it in a long time...Maybe at Pat O'Brian's in New Orleans. Loved it! Bebe
My dad used to sing this whan I was kid. He sang another verse that went :
The next to go in was dear Mrs. Brewster
Sat down on the handle, thought someone had goosed 'er,
Said 'It just don't feel as it used ter'
And no-one knew she was there!
