This is the second of 2 catapult suspends while trying to launch this C-2. Finally things are cleared up and it goes flying.

Rare to get a suspend on film.

  • What was wrong, why the suspend?

  • @gtc1961 They were both suspends initiated up in tower. I think the crosswinds for the COD were approaching out of limits. They have a wind gauge up there too.

  • Thanks for the memories. VRC-30 Det 3 USS Constellation Westpac 97 and 99

  • @backrotor1 Really??? We always turned into the wind for a launch so crosswinds weren't a factor. I guess this was a single plane launch and they didn't want to divert off course.

  • @philelsner thanks! (former) PH2!
