@Phycodorus I think that was Barry Leitch who ripped metallica; the single One was release a few months before than ultima V; also barry leitch ripped another melody from the stranglers´golden brown into the ingame music of heroquest

@EonFafnir my money is on it being a co-incidence. this song and the chord progression is very much in line with the other ultima themes. i know if i sat down and wrote 100 different ultima-esque tunes on my guitar, ten of them would basically be this.

@boourns86 Well, you could be right,I´m not stating for sure that barry leitch plagiarize Metallica, but there is a clear similarity; futhermore the precedent of his heroquest´s ingame tune that also resembles "The strangler´s golden brown" makes me very suspicious about it.
