  • Dear Jackinal... I hope you get this message. What settings do you have your H2 on and what are you recording? It all depends on the situation, as there are a few ways to make it more dynamic by proper placement, settings, etc...

  • Yep. With less stuff distracting your playing, it's easier to focus on the stuff that really matters: phrasing and touch.

  • I love that he is just playing a four piece with two rides and the hats. I like to play all kinds of drum set ups but the classic 4 with two rides and the hats is my favoite, I always go back to it. It really makes you play creative.

  • I didn't say it didn't sound fine (for the recording device being used) I'm just critiquing the recording environment, not the musicians. I'm using Event Precision 8 bi amped studio monitors and to my ears the room was a little lively. A little isolation on the drum kit could have helped. If your a drummer then I get it lol.

  • @benthemiester ill have to disagree, i think it sounded just fine :)

  • @Timmyboy I am pretty sure he uses a ZIldjian K Constantinople 22" Medium Ride with rivets. I believe...

  • Anyone know what ride Peter is using?

  • Kinda sad how erskine left yamaha for dw. Especially just before they unveiled the phx line of drums.

  • well this was very nice ! :D

H2 recorded this quite őerfect for such a small device

  • ¡Espléndida ejecución!

    Splendid performance!

  • Que calidad de sonido, que barbaro

  • Holy sh*t. These guys are good!

  • The room was a little to live and would have put the baffles around the drums but still sounded great. I have red book jazz albums that have sounded worst.
