Slideshow from my recent mission trip to Musoma, Tanzania where our team led a week-long pastors conference and held a health clinic. After almost 10 years, I finally went on my first mission trip and used my Swahili to interpret at the clinic--the whole reason I learned the language :) God is so faithful :) During the trip we visited three wells that various churches and donors in conjunction with the Africa Inland Church-Tanzania (AIC-T) have helped fund and build in the past year.

Tanzania is one of the world's poorest countries. Some women have to walk as many as four hours a day to collect water for their families, and oftentimes it's dirty water. These wells have changed their lives. In addition to providing clean drinking water and improving their health, domestic violence rates have even gone down. The churches provide a mechanism to maintain the wells. AIC-T's goal is to drill a well in every village that has a church.
