  • triwise-Commander Chekov was not aboard the Grissom, he was aboard the Reliant! You are confusing the Miranda class vessel from ST II with the Oberth class from STIII. Sorry. BlueCatShip, thanks for the feedback. We had Sam Wich do this in 2 days, we usually give him 2 months notice, so I can appreciate where you are coming from. Thanks to Sam, Bodo and the team for their quick turnaround on the trailer.

  • Great job overall. But it seems too dark and too little contrast to me. At one point, the ship turns and there's visible stuttering as the ship and viewpoint arc. Otherwise, very fine.

  • I like what I heard. but there is a problem with continuity. Lt Savik is not the only survivor, Commander Chekov should be on board and he lives to see Star Trek IV , V , VI.

  • The trailer is awesome! Good job! Keep up the good work!

  • Looks great

  • I'm glad you enjoyed the trailer, Grissom is a wonderful show. As to 1:30, I tend to agree, and I'm working on ways to correct that for future animations. Ships traveling in warp have always given me trouble, both with realistic lighting, and as you've pointed out, with the sense of scale. I work with Lightwave and if you have any suggestions on how to improve that scene I'd be happy to hear them :)

    Samuel Wich,

CGI artist for Star Trek Grissom.

  • However, the stars passing through the Grissom at 1:30... just kind of ruins the sense of scale...

  • 1080p HD! Nice! :D
