Cirrus5005 Guide - Beachcomber - Big Rig - 1:04.15

I'm going to try and make a few of these. This is my fastest time on Beachcomber at the moment and I might be able to beat eb4tiky5ef79o with a bit more patience and practice.

EDIT = I managed to get a 1:03.87 and beat eb4tiky5ef79o. I was so happy that I finally got a fast 2nd and 3rd split together in one run. Here are the reasons why I beat my current time:

1. I didn't Slam Boost early at 0:21, therefore I could land much better with faster speed.
2. At 0:31 I entered the beach ahead of my ghost but ever so slightly behind eb4tiky5ef79o.
3. 0:43 was my strong point, I began boosting at the earliest point possible in the water and it gave me good speed through the next section, taking me ahead of eb4tiky5ef79o.
4. At 0:50 he got back in front of me because he does that "boost saving part" very quickly, and then he was slightly ahead of me up the next hill too. That wider line of his at 0:51 is quite the mystery.
5. At 0:55 in my new run I didn't ride the wall enough at all, but because of my nice smooth run along the beach, I clocked my fastest 2nd split to date and still had some boost to spare along the flat section up here!
6. At 1:00, I realised the importance of staying close to that tree! It seems to carry so much more speed, and after I passed eb4tiky5ef79o on the 1st Slam Boost I knew I should have won it from that point, and fortunately I didn't mess up, and clocked my fastest 3rd split to date in the same run, equalling just0325's 3rd split, which is a very quick 24.79.

The Minuteman is the Rig to use on this track now, that's how I improved it to 1:03.62. It handles somewhat smoother around the long beach corner and up the hill into the 3rd split. The only problem I had with it was trying to fit its wider frame through the fast & narrow 1st split. It's possible but less consistent than some other Rigs.

I guess I'm into watching your old vids now haha. You're damn last split is so good. I can't hit that little rock to keep my speed up in time attack. I've got about .3 or .4 left in that split alone so I could potentially run a sub 1:04 like you but I'd have to get damn lucky lol.
