I find it slightly amusing that people get on a movie's case about changing the storyline but the games that people hold up on a freakin pillar above everything has changed the storylines several times or added more later or changed the canon ( look at it this way. Its an alternate universe kinda thing.) stop hating on something without giving it a shot.

nah. I think this version of mortal kombat is better. It's less childish and more realistic.

THEY SHOULD JUST STICK TO THE ORIGINAL STORY. WHY CAN NO ONE DO THAT? DOOM, BLOODRAYNE, THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD, AND EVEN RESIDENT EVIL. SOME OF THOSE MOVIES MAY HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL, BUT THEY WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN GOOD IF THEY STUCK TO THE ORIGINAL STORY.
