It was great to see the Strathclyde Police Pipe Band back in action in the Grade 1 competition at The Scottish Pipe Band Championships held in Levengrove Park, Dumbarton on Saturday 22 May 2010 - and sounding so good.
The band was playing its new set of distinctive copper drums - quite an appropriate colour for a police band!
The band is under the direction of its Pipe Major, Don Bradford. Tunes played are PM Raymond Bradford, Judge's Dilemma, Humours of Whiskey, Emigrant's Farewell, J F MacKenzie, Kirsty MacCallum, American Legion Bridge, Paddy LeBlanc, Port a Beul, and Noose and the Ghillie.

Thank goodness they survived the worst Guantanimo A could throw at them !! Rest assured lads, there's far more of us cheering for you than you can hear from the audience at the games. Cheers, P.
