"Racer" by Parts Per Million [Music Video]

The debut video from Chicago band Parts Per Million!

We celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY part On Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at Murasaki Lounge where we
premiered our video for our song "Racer"! Our buddy Jonald Reyes was kind enough to direct and shoot a video for the 1st song off our second album 'Stop Motion'. We also performed a short acoustic set, all while knockin' back some delicious sake!

PPM exploded onto the local Chi-town music scene in late 2008. PPM does what so many bands seem to have forgotten: write good songs. Parts Per Million's music rings true with hooky choruses, hard edges, epic violin passages, and synth fury. It's easy to hear why their audience runs the gamut from the young person just discovering rock music, to the college student listening for something new; to the party people looking to knock back a few while rocking out to some heavy tunes, and finally to the more mature, seasoned listener who isn't afraid to admit that they enjoy the rolling, violin filled passages.

The crazy part is, it's been a year since their inception, and Parts Per Million has already accomplished more than all of its members' previous bands, combined. If PPM can gather this much momentum in only a year, who knows what the future could hold for them? Keep an eye out, Parts Per Million is coming to a stage near you!
