I normally play this one with a AnalogMan SunFace BC108 but the Big Muff does the job... Fender CS69 pickups, Boss CS-2, green Sovtek Big Muff, Boss BD-2 (mod.), EH Deluxe Mem Man, Marshall 5210.

@BjornRiis thx for answer. I'm lefthanded and the only pickguard for my strat that I can found is 3-ply but Black/White/Black which is in my opinion ugly :(. Should I get 1-ply Black to customize my guitar like Gilmour's strat?

Buy the BWB and use a black marker pen to cover the white :)

just realized after re-learning this solo, (thanks to you), after many years of forgetting, (haven't played it since 94!!!), that the solo he constructs here is very similair in form to his solo on 'time';

slow sustaining fuzzed out bass lines turn to bluesy bendy riffs to arpeggiating and outlining the chord progression to an all out fury of fire and flash!

It's a Fender Japan '57 with Callaham tremelo system, Fender CS69 neck and mid pickups and a Duncan SSl5 bridge pickup.
