In '96, I and a friend (who happened to be a priest in my church at the time) went to this show and it was phenomenal. Christian or pagan or whatever faith you follow, you need to see New York's best kept secret at least once. Paul Winter's sax is absolutely not of this world and is best heard live, although you should at least have some of his stuff on CD to tide you over;).

What an awesome pagan celebration!....oh sorry, you call yourselves "Christian".

drink warm tea, calm down this has been generations, you have never felt your own inner soul, you only feel the elite life, now we matter?

I have never heard Bach's Grave from Fantasia played so slowly; this is a phenomenal new concept.

I saw this show in the 80's. It was awsome. Any more footage would be greatly appreciated. Of any St. John's the Divine event.
Hey jr200849, ever since he had a root canal job, my dog doesn't read the Wall Street Journal.

I am interested in purchasing the Kodak Easyshare z812IS.. but every video I have seen so far reveals that this cameras recorded audio in video mode just stinks! Its so distorted with loud noises. Your comments are welcome. I am leaning toward the canon powershot s5 now even though its about $130 more. Thanks..

I'm sorry but I haven't used the video function much at all on that camera yet, so I can't give you a useful answer. I hope your information is wrong.

I looked at a bunch of z812 videos on youtube and found the sound to be fine for the circumstances. I wouldn't expect great sound from this kind of camera, anyway.

I was there on the 15th too. It was phenomenal... unlike any concert I ever went too. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for writing. How'd you find my video? I've been twice before, the first in the early 80's. It's a unique celebration, am glad everyone doesn't know about it. As a student I lived 500 feet from St. John's.....next year should be a good one. My video skills will be better too.
