  • 2 questions:

    1. with titanium backup is there a need to move anything to a file on your computer?

    2. will backing up apps w/ data backup my music if they're all on music playing apps?

  • @xhockeyxlifex 1) Only copy to your PC if you are going to do a Master Clear.

    2) I don't think it will back up music. Although unless your doing a Master Clear, your music will be fine on the internal SD card.

  • I just tried backing up all my data but when i go into the apps list, nothing shows up. when i load up TB i get a popup saying that i need to tick "unknown sources" but i dont have any setting like that.... help pls?

  • @MrTomayDame Did your backup actually complete? Check the titanium backup folder on your internal sdcard using My Files. Is there anything in it?

  • I just have one question. My phone is and HTC HD2, and as you know we can have Android. I used z4root which is a temporary root app for some phones and a permanent for others, but what I don't understand is that my phone says it's an HTC Desire cause it's a rom from a Desire, and Desire is in the Non-Compatible permanent root phones with this app, and that after reboot the rooting is gone. I don't understand how I managed to use Titanium if my phone is a "desire" and I have rebooted a 100 times

  • @raicho20 Probably just a bug for your benefit. Don't ask just enjoy! Lol. What rom are you using? I'm sure it's prerooted and this is why your root stays even after rebooting and you probably did not even need to use z4root.

  • Thanks I found this video useful.

  • I must admit to being a little daunted by the wealth of options in TB but now, after watching your tutorial, I am a very happy chappy. Thank you so much for this thorough tutorial. Top job!

  • I deleted my yahoo mail and yahoo contacts before backing up. I think that's the culprit of why my contacts are crashing. When i click on any contacts it immediately crashing. I tried reinstalling those apps etc and they are not listed anywhere or when i load the titanium app. As if its gone completely. By the way ive got a Droid X. Please up. Anyways to restore it?

  • if something goes wrong lets say during install of a custom rom will this back up let evrything were it was?

  • How do u delete backed up apps

  • @spl3ndr download the free version first... the paid is only a key to "open up" the paid for features

  • Hey, I've backed up an application with it and removed it and when i tried to restore the file the restoring option is taking long, is that normal, I can't exit it because it would get messed up and I know that every time I try doing something like fixing permissions, it messes everything up and I'm sure it has to do with the 3d option i deleted in the phone

  • @MobileTechVideos IT BACKS UP MUSIC NOW

  • @CNDbutterflybabe The paid app is only a licence for the program. You will need to download the free version. Then the licence that you downloaded will open up all the functionality for the program.

  • Titanium backup will create a folder on your SD card named, wait for it...... Titanium backup. You can also change that in the setting page.
