@iiiINSULT2INJURYiii call it what you want but they without a doubt lost something when Dirk left. Brandon doesn't scream when they play their old songs where they involve actual energy, which Ben would know nothing about. If you want to talk about talent and why Dirk was "Ditched", it's because they changed their style and Dirk didn't want to. there was no ditching involved. Dirk was way more creative and it took me hours to master his lines where Kenneys took me maybe 10 minutes. Dirk>Ben.

@nicoesco First of all incubus flows waaaay better than ever before with Ben. And they mutually decided to have dirk out for a reason so id trust the bands decision. And Ben adds a lot of creative and spiritual energy to the band. And a crow left of the murder was my personal favorite album.

@plus44fanatics agreed i mean DIrk left though because he was ready to settle down for a while. or so go the rumors but i mean he wasn't active in the music scene, he was in cali. doing sound for video games I think that If they can touch base on the next album of more power more energy and creativity it will probably become a More thought out SCIENCE. or somethign new and Trendy.

@aaronc391 im not angry about their new direction. i even liked light grenades and wasn't completely opposed to that direction. but they completely changed from that album too and all of a sudden became really soft and worst of all.. poppy. the whole reason why this band was so good was because Dirk made it so mike could do his own trippy thing on guitar, but that facet has completely disappeared. listen, i'll always love this band no matter what they do but too much change can be a bad thing.

@plus44fanatics got the admite your right about Killmore i liked him when he did some work son But i mean Thy're leanign into a whole new direction of Music i hope they just don't end bad. I think its time for them to complete the circle and Touch on one of the older styles maybe have a relavent cousin to sound of science or something. I just need their strong songs more.

They are also older and mellow now, they can't always be 'the party band'. Sorry guys, people change, and for artists of ANY KIND their medium also changed. Get the hell over it.

Ben came from The Roots, so he can play just as well as Dirk, and for the record the rumors of musical difference and tension between him and other band members simply is not true. He left the band to settle down and be away from touring.
