@noirkitten Once the thorn and Dr. Wynn started being introduced, I kind of lost interest. Just too jumbled of a storyline between all the films. H20 makes no mention of the previous years and pretty much continues where H2 left off. In my honest opinion, 6 was the worst of the movies, followed by Ressurection.
And with this 3d version supposedly coming out, jesus christ, they're butchering the entire series. Too much story expansion and not enough left to the viewer.

If it didn't have the title "Halloween" and wasn't supposed to feature Michael Myers, this would actually be a decent horror movie.
It's the whole association with the franchise that makes it so terrible.

@jshplock Well, it all gets changed in the sequel, because Michael is apparently under the influence of his bloodthirsty ghost-mother and Laurie is clearly disturbed (who wouldn't be?).
