  • it is Limestone, and i mine it for myself 100 meter away from home.

So i live in Germany, if you want i send you million of tons of it... ;)

  • Six to nine months but it depents on many factors like is there a dominant male and temperature, good feeding. Its different from time to time.

  • how long for my 2 and half inch boy gets that big and can he mate yet?

  • i think he can mate yet! and it depents on your tank size water quality and genetic pool, i dont now even is my fish a hybrid because M. Johanni is one of the first malawis that arrived europe around late 70is.

There a several johanni subspecies Melanochromis Interruptus the same fish but the with interruptet stripes.some young fishes are showing that stripes.

  • yeah he looks just like this one and its 40 gallon tank with lots and lots of rocks he owns the tank lol just my female Auratus beats him still and he shows no intrest in his female idk why i wish they would mate or somthing...he also shakes alot for all the other fish and what is ganeric pool??

  • Gene pool is what i wanne say:) if the fish got a weak or damaged gene pool they often become weak and small.
