Capt Stacey; I went through lessons 1, 2, and 3 of your course, but I was still nervous about flying. I was afraid of it for any reason you could possibly think of. Then, though, when I read the part about airport security and the rest of lesson 4, I wasn't so afraid anymore! Thank you soooo much for making this course, and I hope it could help other people like it helped me! Thanks again! ~Kate
I don't know. But I definatly have seen a FA on one of my flights gain access to the flight deck by entering numbers into the keypad that was next to the door.
Hey, You idiot, There is an electronic controller in every modern flightdeck with the option of UNLCK or LCK Guess where that Controller goes once the airplane pushes back =], Nobody can get into the flightdeck unless the pilot's say so. just how it works
Can you site any specific data that supports your claim that flight attendants have a code or a key? If a flight attendant has the code then the attendant could be forced to open the door which would make the impregnable door useless.
What happened to the attendants' codes on flights that missed their airports while the pilots were asleep?
Flight attendants know nothing about the cockpit buddy, not unless they have taken flight training or talk to the pilots a lot the flightdeck door also has No key and can only be opened from the Inside. 2 pilots Sleeping never happens either, One takes a nap one monitors the aircraft while it's on the Autopilot, Most intercontinental Flights will have 3 Gentlemen on the Flightdeck and 2 may sleep while one monitors :), Have a Nice day, you got a -1 also

i thought it was mandatory for one of the flight attendants to know the correct procedure for an ILS landing.

The flight deck door has a numeric code to it you idiot. Flight attendants know what the code is.

You're wrong. Flight Attendents have the code to unlock the FD door.
