I shot this video at Congress Woman Maxine Waters Heath Care Town Hall Meeting today. She does a good job of outlining what they're working on. I'm also going to post a video showing some of the questions and answers from after the speech. It looks like we'll never have single payer healthcare, but she says she is insisting that there be a public option. There weren't any of the Tea Party protesters at this meeting. I think they're scared to go into the city.

  • Wow! I just posted the video and already have all these negative comments. Where were you guys today? If you'd been at the meeting, my video would have been a lot more fun to watch. I thought she did a good job explaining things and asnwering questions.

  • Maxine is a marxist...end of story.

  • Hiding evil behind care is the oldest trick in the book. Maxine is uneducated on the topic and arrogant.

  • Maxine is a joke...

  • wait wait wait.....why is that guy praying in a townhall meeting? where is the liberal outcry about separation of church and state? (not that it actually exists but I can't help pointing out hypocrisy) (and in CALIFORNIA of all places XD)

  • Maxine Waters is the bomb. I really hope that people will take a moment to pass this one on to others.

Anyone who would like to become more involved in this movement please visit my profile.

  • Another of the uninformed spouting more hysterical nonsense. The Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 was undone during the republican control of both houses under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999. Sen Phil Gramm of Texas, Rep Jim Leach of Iowa and Rep Tom Bliley of Virginia, all republicans.

The impending collapse of lending institutions was foreseen as early as 2002 - 2003 to many of us that were compiling and analyzing the data.

  • JT8800, That's why I don't buy any product that provides it's employees health care; nor do I go to a restaurant that provides health care to the cook, server, dishwasher, the trucker that delivers the food, nor the company that manufactures the utensils. If your entire family die from a raging case of congenital warts I wouldn't give spit to help you. You're on your own, just the way you want it.

  • "Best system in the world"?

    Prove it.

  • As an American taxpayer and voter, I should not pay for anyone's heath care. Period. I have a family and my own bills, our own expenses. My neighbor, single without children, does not want to pay for my family's health care. Americans do not have a RIGHT to health care, and we are proving it. Freedom of assembly, the right of freedom of speech, yes. Health care for all? No. That's why there's this debate. Ms. Waters, can the rest of us have YOUR taxpayer paid for health care coverage? Why not?

  • She is a lying Socialist-pushing jerk, and there aren't enough pre-town hall prayers who could stop the evil within this woman/beast!!! Throw this bum out!!!
