just put a llimiter on the master channel but dont over use it or youll loose the harmonics of your track ? a good pair of ears and a good pair of monitors is the key. eq all the way :)

@joecmcreations yes and no, a bad mastering engineer can turn a track into a distaster, whereas a good one can transform it into something amazing. suffice to say, good and properly used compression is absolutely key.

So how do they stop the master from distorting if they don't put a limiter on it? Do they leave that to the person mastering it?
