These are 12 ELF products you shouldn't waste your money on. They either have poor pigmentation, a crappy consistency, weird smell, stickiness... they're just bad. That's not to say all of they're products are. most are really pretty good. I'll share those later :) (I'm sorry this is long. the bulk of the length is at the end. I babble a bit... then cut myself off.) But the ones that suck are...

  • What do you mean by, like, settling into your lines or whatever?

  • @missSephora101 if you have dryer skin, or any under eye wrinkles or wrinkles anywhere where you'd apply the product, unless you use an incredibly think, full coverage foundation that's borderline cakey, those products will sink into those lines. it will make the product less visible as a blush (for example) but those lines far more noticeable because they'll be filled with that product, accentuating the fact that they;re there. unless your skin is flawless, it;s not so good to use.

  • Thanks for sharing your opinions on these products. I was going to purchase the clarifying pressed powder but after listening to your review, I deleted it out of my cart from Elf's website and will buy the Studio version instead....thanks!!!

    Happy Holidays!! :)

  • @bearyhappyshopper glad i could help :)

  • 12? Im not 12 and most older ppl i know dont have any problems with lines on there face maybe you have dry skin or somethin...but alot of lipgloss is thick and i dont have a problem with it...and i just though some of the reasons you said they werent good were kinda dumb..

  • @babybluejeans99 i never said you were 12. it was just a number i threw out. as was being a few years older than 12 as a generalization. i apologize if it struck you the wrong way. but poor pigmentation, sheer-ness, heaviness, and nothing but filler are more than good reasons on why a product is poor. they weren't all stupid. but, it's cool.

  • I don't enjoy the smell of the mint either. It smells like toothpaste? Medicine? Something like that. I wish they would improve that.

  • @babybluejeans99 a problem with that but once you're a few years older, you most certainly will notice it. their $3 blush is fantastic for dry, oily, or even mature (grandmother) skin. i highly recommend that. ... and totally stand by my reasons. i mean really, you've ever heard people say how things settle into the lines (under eye concealer) or creases (even on primed lids)? come on.

  • @babybluejeans99 so i stand by that.

and two, i stand by it settling into lines. you have skin cells all over your body... we are not porcelain. everyone has super fine lines under their eyes for foundation, concealer, and powder to settle in to. everyone has creases on their eye lids. overtime, your blush and powder settle into the breaks in the skin cells on your face. they're there. when you wear bad makeup for 8 hours, you see a weird pattern. yes, if you're 12, you may not have a ...

  • @babybluejeans99 i'm glad you have had a better experience with these products.

while yes, lip gloss can catch bangs, it's not always as huge of a problem with many other glosses. even their glossy gloss isn't as bad. but when it's soo sticky that it makes your lips nearly stick together then migrates to that area after you separate your lips, and when it literally gets stuck in your hair, it's bad. for $3 or $14. the revlon super lustrious gloss (at least w/o shimmer) is not sticky at all.
