A two-month-old baby was struggling to breathe. A non-cancerous tumor was slowly strangling her.
The growth, a hemangioma -- a malformation of blood vessels -- was on her head, neck and chest.
To help the struggling baby, a doctor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee took an unusual step.
She gave the baby a very common medicine, normally used to regulate blood pressure.
And within a day, there were miraculous results. Barb Cramer has the story in this Vanderbilt Video News Release.
