  • Still hits home 20 plus years later. Tight as a drum.

  • I just got back from a job loading Bob dylan, willie nelson, and john mellencamps gear onto a stage for a show. I set up the drumset and loaded that violin :) so cool. Im going to the show tonight to see them in 2 hours backstage :)

  • They need Kenny back big time....this guy is just not the same caliber of drummer...

  • NICE

  • Is there really one asshole out there that doesn't like this?

  • I love john mellencamp but he doesn't even need the guitar. He hardly plays anything, its all for show.

  • live music is 8etter

  • Aug. 2,2011 the USA will run out of money to pay it's debts, if the debt ceiling is not raised. This will be disastrous for lower and middle income families. All because the Tea/ Republican party is trying to protect rich greedy CEO's.Who are shipping the jobs overseas anyway.

  • This is what I call music!

  • @djk28161 My comment was incomplete. The demise of the family farm has little to do with the rise of corporate owned farms and government intervention. Those things are reactions to a far greater problem. Those large farms are the only ones keeping the land the next generation of farmers walked away from in production. Who wants to be a farmer when the liberal welfare state feeds you? Who needs to be? Shelves are full. As a farmer myself I look around and there is something I don't see anymore

  • and what I don't see are children. I have to wonder if the next generations of farmers are even being born. The chances of a young farmer raising a family of his own are nearly zero if he stays on the farm. I know this from personal experience. No one can blame any political party or corporation for that cultural shift that has been over 200 years in the making. Farming is hard they say and isn't any fun. That is an opinion of course and I see things differently.

  • Organizations like Farm Aid are a curiosity at best. Yes they want to keep the traditional family farm alive but they are wearing rose colored glasses. Farm Aid wants the farmer to fit their view of how things should be done while they live their own lives uninhibited. The farmer should be on his hands and knees caring for the earth and feeding the world while artist like Mellencamp consume endless resources to produce,….. well,… little if anything.
