Celebration Florida Death Pond

Near Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida you'll find the Disney town of Celebration Florida. Near Celebration there is a deadly pond that has claimed the lives of many motorists. Celebration residents report hearing unexplained sounds near the pond that could be the ghosts of the drivers who made a wrong turn.

lol.. nope, never did.. I always turned back the way I came.. mostly because it was like you said, completely dark and no signs to say which way.. it must be some sick twisted joke on people not from that area lol..

@Tampajoe77 LOL, us too! We were trying to get into Celebration but had no clue where to go when you reached this point because there are no signs at all directing you. Did you ever find out which way because we didn't.

Skinner dippers?! LOL. If this pond was next to an insane asylum you MIGHT see some skinny dippers in there. I can't see anyone every even contemplating swimming in that muck filled hole. You can't see past the top inch of water, it's so black/green and slimy. I do believe there is still at least one car in there though.

FACT CHECK:: After one drunk teen tried to run the corner at high speed, she ended up killing herself when she ran into the pond. When they did some checking, they found a car with three men in it who had been missing for some time. The only strange sounds from the pond are from late night high school skinny dippers. (Celebration High School is next to the pond.) The pond has no name. It has been out of the news and not noticed for years.

come on.... is this for real? i live there and i have never heard anything/ heard of anyone hearing anything..... the only splashing in the lake is from the alligators and birds....

I've taken that turn.. it's not so much a "wrong" turn.. but it weeds itself into nothingness with no signs telling you left or right.. I must have U-turned on it four or five times @ 2am....
