I'd comment but after playing alto sax jazz for nearing 50 years, i've yet to get one good rating or review on YouTube, so I'm forced to conclude the longer I played and practiced, the worse my playing got. so stay with the pretty 'cause experience leads to decadence, perhaps, with some musicians.

Bird (charlie parker) said if you don't live it it won't come out of your horn. live what? he's meaning honesty, playing what is really inside you, truely yours and yours alone, and that requires complete integrity, never giving in an inch to DISALLOW what you want to play, especially to make money or please ANYBODY BUT YOURSELF. I've done this but it's led me to playing my own muse which is true to me but evidently nobody else likes, anybody can sound good, but few play well. you sound good.

try adding some accents to some of the notes, and play some notes a bit 'out of time' to give it that jazz feel...
