As highlighted on http://MaterialsViews.com, a team of researchers have come a step closer to developing true nanoelectronics, by investigating the properties of a key material for this, and other, fields: hexagonal boron nitride.

This video shows the interaction of a one- to four-layer hexagonal boron nitride membrane with an electron beam, which was used to probe the molecular interactions in the material.
