My mother was a massive fan of Billy Fury and i remember her listening to a lot of his songs. I have heard (and enjoyed) Halfway to paradise, Ill never find another you etc since but this is the first time Ive heard this since i was a child. Thanks to the poster and especially thanks to Billy of all his great songs this is the best. R.I.P

Now This One BEAUTIFUL SONG! I Used To Have This Record When I Was A Kid About 20 Years Ago And I Totally Forgot About Till Now Too. It's So Nice To Hear It Once Again :-)

@strutherhill. Billy never had a sister .

A Great Billy song! This takes me back to my childhood and living in England. Billy was really something special!l Always known as a sweet gentle man with a golden voice to match his looks. Sadly missed but never gone!!

@strutherhill BTW I'm a great Lennon fan; but I'm not certain that having him in your backing line-up would help your confidence!

Great delivery of intense romantic ballad. After Billy's death his sister said that there had been talk of having the Beatles - before they started to make it big - as his backing group; she was glad it never materialised - 'imagine having Lennon there' (offering his views in his own inimitable way)!

This is such a lovely song. Billy's on top form here. Great voice and so gorgeous to look at. He wrote a number of his own songs as well. The SOUND OF FURY album is a good example of his writing ability. So sad to be taken so young. RIP Billy. I miss you.
