This original tape was first aired on BBC2 in January 1975 until it went out of service in December 1975 to be replaced by If I Were A Carpenter, and Born Free replaced Overture: La Belle Helene, which had been in service since 1972. Enjoy!!!!

  • Has anyone got TCF with Make it with you by Bread, Carly Simon Nobody does it better & The Monkees Daydream Believer ?

They were definatly played on 1982-1983 on BBC2 & they were the only pop songs i ever heard on there.

  • I most certainly have the music - all of this was on the Baby I'm A Want You tape which was in service on BBC2 from 9th November 1979 until 11th May 1983. If you would like, please send me your address and I will make a DVD of this and send it to you.

  • The first track is played by the Werner Twardy Orchestra, loved this tape when it was new, was 11 yrs old in 1975

  • Does any one remember a series of short films /documentaries that used to get aired during the day 1970 or so. I remember being off school and there use to be about 3or 4 half hour broadcasts in colour. One was definately about rainbow trout making there way up river to spawn. I would love to see this or any of the others as I just know so many memories would come flooding back.

  • "You've Got A Friend", originally by Carole King. Not a particularly good arrangement on this tape with that rough sounding saxophone. The rest of the tape is great though!

  • Yes, lovely music indeed. Very easy on the ears, and track number 3 is especially jolly!

  • Good old 70's style selection of german orchestral stuff here. a lot of this generic session stuff used to appear on demo tapes and lps sent out to broadcasters round the world. Crazy track titles unless you understand the lingo but the lps are good dont make music like this anymore
