Lourdes Medina is the Chief Radio Producer at KSJV Radio Bilingüe, a program in English and Spanish focusing Indigenous farmers of Mexican heritage in Fresno, California.

I met Lourdes Medina -a former US Census worker- in Washington, DC, and we talked about the Mexican American community and the National Census 2010.

  • Your "theory" is wrong. As a person who comes from an "average" Hispanic household and an "average" family back in Mexico... I KNOW that we have European ancestry. We're mestizo... like MILLIONS of other Mexicans, who, by the way, can prove it with genealogy that goes back into the 17-18th century (as of yet). Just becuase you feel you do not have any, doesn't mean anything. I understand there are large populations of only Indigenous descendants, but don't speak for the rest of us.

  • comprehensive immigration reform first census 2010 later simple

  • Great Video Carlos, keep it up.
