I was listening to Donna The Buffalo from the stage at Floydfest 8 when an early evening mountain rainstorm rolled through. Donna played on through the wind and rain. When I realized they were not going to stop I put my camera into movie mode and started capturing the moment. While the crew was trying to protect the equipment, Donna finished 40 days and 40 nights. By this time, with a wet and useless fiddle bow, Tara had wisely left the stage. Jeb and the water-soaked band then promptly launched into a long jam around Mystic Water; part 2 captures a portion. The Herd did not roam and Donna did not stop until the rain passed. After replacing some equipment and getting some dry clothes they finished their set. Amazing moment, truly wonderful. Another great Floydfest story.
