  • "It's not your fault. It's Lestat's fault!"

    "My fault?!"

lol Everything is Lestat's fault in Louis opinion.

  • I'll bet you ANYTHING that if this musical was put back on Broadway today, with all the hype about vampires nowadays thanks to Twilight and all that other stuff, it would be a huge hit!

But it might scare all the girly Twilight people, because this about real, classical vampires. Such a great show!

  • @sngr2012 No it wouldn't . Not unless it was changed. As like others pointed out the best song of the show is this one and it wasnt even sung by the 2 main people. Also people had some issues with the semi-gay vampires. And not to mention the sets were a bit blah. Granted revamp change it could do better now. But still would have issues in exact form

  • The thing that kills me is that this is a really good musical, but the directing was completely awful. Allison Fischer was brilliant as Claudia, but she was blocked to perform miserably poor motions and gestures in this number (such as the beating the bed on beat at 2:22). Great cast, great book, great music, horribly put together.

  • I wish this was still running.

  • I loved this broadway musical! I saw it in time square in 2006 and fell in love with the music. Elton John did a great job writing the score. And the girl who play Claudia had an amazing voice! They should definitely bring it back and travel with it.

  • This play should've lasted longer....

  • Ah, Lestat. Probably Elton's most underappreciated work on par with The Road to El Dorado. And this is my fave song from there,,, although I must admit I like Elton's demo performance more. Screw Broadway, I wish he had just released all his studio performances of Lestat as a concept album... that would have been a blast.

  • @andipoetic

In the show, she's supposed to be 10, and Allison was 16 when she played her. She's so talented :)

  • I love this song! It's stuck in my head right now. =D

  • Interview with a Vampire... I just watched it

  • @monkeysrus7 lolz. At least you didn't piss off anne rice emailing her questions about it.
