That's the bitter reality of all Indian roads. We don't believe in managing ourselves, are damn corrupt and yet expect the government to be honest. That's one of our favorite games- passing the buck onto others.

Our city roads look like filled with worms roaming anywhere and adhering to no laws. In Delhi, the city with roads wider and traffic heavier than in any other Indian metropolis, the users have learned to take the infrastructure for granted.

How about "even if you are the 142nd car stopped at a red light, it is your duty to honk as much as possible when the light turns green." or "if you are going to do something crazy even by Delhi standards, just extend your arm out the window and wave. This excuses everything." or "side mirrors are best kept folded in, since you won't be needing them anyway" or "make sure when making a left turn onto a main road not to look to your right to see if any cars are coming
