Awesome Vintage Trucks move Edaville Railroad narrow gauge equipment to Portland, Maine on Route 495 in Haverhill, MA. 09/19/1993. Seen are two Steam Engines, one Diesel and numerous Passenger and Freight cars, a snowplow too. Excellent Vintage Semi's hauling lowboys, etc.

  • This is great, vintage trucks moving vintage train. Can't get any better than that...

  • @chuckrl Thats my vid....I have one that Moose did also, did you check that one out, its better than mine, Craig

  • I don't know alot about trims but they were definitely being hauled in style! I love old Mack trucks, though this video was shot a few day's before my 8th birthday, I have always loved old trucks. Are these trains still in Portland or have they moved else where, I grew up in Saco and lived in Maine my whole life but the only old trains I remember are in Arundel

  • @2009deerejohn I think at least some of the stuff is still in Portland...on Commercial St. maybe someone else out there can answer this. I also have another video of this move I'll be posting soon, Craig

  • Duh, I mean Grand Trunk.....LOL

  • They were being moved from

Carver,Massachusetts to Portland,Maine, I believe to the old Portland Company (builder of steam locomotives) on Commercial St....I haven't been up there but they have a museum and a short stretch of track on the old Grand Truck right of way that they run on.

  • Now thats a convoy!

  • WOW this has to be the best thing i've ever seen done with vintage equipment

  • I sure wish I could have seen this in person!

  • That made my day :)

  • I used to ride on that train as a kid.

  • I love that B813 at about 2:19......favorite truck of all time, someting about those flat fenders really makes the truck stick out.
