  • thanks for this... you've really helped clarify my thinking. just a thought: have experimented with using dummy clips? you could route the audio from each of your looper layers to an audio track that has two bar clips without audio, but with effects. it would have the same "push play and relax" as this set up, but with the "automatically repeat and pitch up" aspect of the fourth layer... on customizable steroids.

  • @slipperytriphazard Sure, you could use dummy clips. I'm in the camp that doesn't really enjoy drawing in automation in clips though. a tad cumbersome.

I've actually been using a looped number of bars in the arrangement view to write automation on the fly from my Apc40. I can write over it, erase it. "save" it by moving the brackets to a new set of bars.pretty straightforward and fun. this obviously doesn't work if you have audio clips in the arrangement, but its a fun jam scenario.

  • brilliant ...!

  • You're brilliant! I've been trying to figure out how to use multiple loopers without doubling the audio for the last week or two. I didn't even notice that input/output setting on the bottom right. Thanks!

  • Nice workaround- deep video tutorial...
