@TRBOQUIK6 I contacted aquacraft week and they said they fixed that problem...I just orderd mine tonight i hope it out performs my other boats..I think if 4s and a 42x55 prop does high 40's i may just leave it stock...very nice handling boat from what i researched..i hve a surge crusher on 5s and its a beast does around 50mph,but it blows over easy
Just for info.... The Motley Crew Cat is an awesome boat however, don't try running a 5s on the boat using a grim 42x55 prop because YOU WILL snap the wire prop shaft wire and lose the 29 dollar prop to boot! I love the boat but it amazes me for how expensive the boat is, it can't handle this mod that well.

@TRBOQUIK6 he said on 4s. not 5s. and it shows the best battery is the ones in the vid.

How expensive it is? It's a screaming bargain compared to jokes like the Traxxas Titan/Spartan.
Overvolting a boat beyond its specs is not a "mod" Just like bolting a hood scoop onto a Honda is not "tuning".
Stick with the 4s in the manual and work on your prop tweaking skills to get speed rather than using brute force that just starts breaking stuff.
