  • could i ask you how you do those trills at 0:17?

I'm new to the blues harp and looking for advise to start :)

    I really like this playing!

  • @Crazytjeuh Thanks for your comment. You can do this effect with moving your head or arm left-right-left-right a bit to achieve alternate blowing of two neighboring holes. I did it in draw holes #4 and #5.

  • is it possible to play like this in the key of C ?

  • @ClanChattan14 Of course: for the key of C you should use an F harmonica in cross position.

  • im hoping to get a harmonica in a week or 2 what type should i get and whats a good price

  • @jalen77232 I think so, that for a beginner a Hering Free Blues in the key of C is ideal. It is a cheaper model, but rather good to start.

  • @a194321 Thanks. :) Since that is just a short improvisation, there are no tabs available. But if you have a C harp, just try to play it by ear, I am sure, you can do it.

  • Hi, i absolutely love this! Since i'm a beginner, are there any tab i can use for this song? :)

  • @PChelo For example, a blues in key of E is played with a key of A harp. If the blues music is in D key, your harp must to be in G key. In this way of play you get the effect like at 0:17 or the bendings.

  • @hankoless If you have a harp in key of C and you want to play blues, the rhythm guitar (or piano, organ, etc..) shoul play in key of G. That's because with the harp in C you get the "blues notes" of a song in key of G. That is called "2nd position" or "crossharp". So, if you have an harp in key of C and the the music is in C key is difficult to get the "blues notes".

  • @zolkowski

sorry, I'v only just started playing, I have no idea what that means

  • really nice man like it alot :)

  • can any one tell me how to get the guiatr in key of G with harp in C

  • @zolkowski i see that you have a Hohner harmonica and it think its made of wood and its perfect to be played with acoustic guitar but i m wondering if its gonna sounds good with an electric guitar
