@WhatGodNow In Western Europe the largest group is Atheist, Agnostic, Free Thinker, Pagan, Naturalist, followed by I don't know :^) Roman Catholicism is declining in Europe. Islam is not growing in Europe. There are simply more Muslims moving into Europe than before, and the people are having kids. Buddhism is nicely budding here. Buddhism is a pagan mind science, no creator god exists. This science suits me, I consider it priceless. Patriarchal organized religion must go! Peace...
@ILoveBuddhism Maybe you are right. It is possible though that much of what is ascribed in the bible to Jeus as regards what he said and did, is not what Jesus said and did. Studies about Jesus prove that his teachings, hand mudra, oldest statues, pictures, have very much in common with Buddha's teachings. Buddha lived after all only 5 centuries before Jesus, not that far away. Jesus may have been for many yrs in India, far and wide, with Buddhist Gurus. Why is Jesus egotistic?
We do not anymore need any religion based on some type of he-god/allah/yahweh that nobody has actually ever seen. Sure, liars and mentally ill people are talked to by he-God/he-Allah/he-Yahweh; they hear a voice booming in the sky telling them to kill in his name. All that humanity needs to understand is that all sentient beings, all living beings, this includes animals and Mother Nature, are sacred in and of themselves, must! be utterly respected and cared for. That is valid religion!
@ninetailschris Sorry, but a he-God/he-Allah/he-Yahweh does not! at all exist. Any discussion or conversation based on the explicit statement that such a he-entity exists is a waste of time for both well meaning participants. Some 6000 yrs ago, or more, a war lord (Moses?) invented the concept of a he-vengeful-one-for-all-god. This is a fact. Before the one-for-all-he-god a naturalistic civilization existed that was/is utterly vilified by a militant corrupt Abrahamic cult.
@ninetailschris Jesus taught the Universal Law of Cause and Effect: as you do so you will done. And Jesus taught this law because while he was living in exile for 17 yrs in India and in the Himalayas (he left his country of birth Egypt cuz he was persecuted by Octavius, see YT video: Want your mind blown?), so while in exile he studied and practiced the priceless teachings of the Buddha. Esu then became an Awakened One (like many many Chinese Buddhist practitioners!) and .. :^)
@ninetailschris Anyone who blindly believes in the written word of the Bible/Quran/Talmud, written and rewritten by the scribes of war lords, lacks the courage to stand independently on her/his own two feet on planet Earth traveling at unheard of speed through a vast universe. Sorry, I don't mean to be unkind, but he-God/he-Allah/he-Yahweh has never ever existed! What exists is the scientifically proven Universal Law of Cause and Effect, a law that IS, creates everything.
@ILoveBuddhism It is not so sad. China once was Buddhist, but Jesus was a Buddhist! I prefer the teachings of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni to the teachings of Jesus simply because the Buddha's teachings are open for criticism, and through the ages are not as much altered by scribes of war lords as the also non-violent teachings of Jesus. FYI, to find out more abt possible origins of Jesus (Esu) and much more, see YouTube docu: Want Your Mind Blown? (The Bible is a theory too).
There are only 20 religions that actually hold a noticeable number. The older point makes the list fewer and ones that are still around from then are even fewer.Maybe 4-8 that are still around not including philosophical religions. I already said that hell is eternal separation from God where the person choose freely to go because of there own hatred. You say I'm stupid but all you did was talk fallacies which I pointed out.Your last point was genetic fallacy and I answered it.
