It was only fitting that the only Big 12 team to go undefeated in league play, Kansas, did so on Mizzoodle's homecourt. Mizzoodle will never know what it is to be undefeated in Big 12 play or in SEC play. Good luck against Kentucky and Florida and the other teams in that league who will be unfortunate enough to have you as a member of their league next season.

Nebraska was not bad that year. They got revenge against Missouri the next week in the Big 8 Tournament and went on to beat Oklahoma State in the championship. Unfortunately, they got beat in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

not a Mizzou fan, Boilers fan, I had forgotten they went undefeated in Big Eight play that season (1993-1994) but remember they were a #1 seed in the NCAA's and reached the Elite Eight but fell a game short of the Final Four (same result for my team that season as well): Melvin Booker, Jevon Crudup, Mark Atkins, Paul O'Liney, Chris Heller, Julian Winfield (? might have joined the next season), etc.

This was a great game, I was only 9 years old at the time, but I'll never forget when the three rimmed out at the buzzer. Just awesome.

i know melvin booker. he is my next door neighbor. he lives in a small town off of government street in ocean springs mississippi to get tecnical go on google earth type in 2511 promenade blvd. oceans spring ms and find the red brick house with the swimming pool on a corner with a fence thats his house! i slept over there wiht his fiances daughter
