okay girl just one more question, way is it that parents are not see their kids thru high school any more or once they graduate I hear a lot of parents saying there done! Whats up with that? Cause my strong black boy (MAN) is going to go to college and finish with his master in SOMETHING and then let whatever job he get pay for his MBA if thats what he want but in todays world a black man needs his master @ 24 or 25 yrs old! U feel me..lol

Amen! Great video! More than ever, parents need to get involved. Unfortunatley, alot of them (and teachers) don't seem to care about their future.

Ok, let me state that I'm not old enough to have kids or to the point where I can support kids. Speaking as a child, I do wish my parents can get more involved with my studies, I consider myself lucky that I even graduated from highschool because none of my brothers did except for one (4 of them all older than me). Now that I'm in college I still recieve no help, but if I choose to have kids I will help them whenever they need it.

to keep their kids home until the governor then Rob Blagojevich given the money to the Chicago public school system that he said he would , so what are pastor did was haired teacher to teach the different grade levels of kids who parents didnt send their kid and had school at are church that holds 12,000.00 members and wild the teacher were teaching the kids the members of the church and parents were marching for funding for the CPS schools and  students but again you cant get the parents

any way after I posted the comments I'm seeing my mistakes. My pastor Rev. James T Meeks, did a sermon on why Johnny can't read and it's talking about the same things were talking about now, about parents getting involved in there childrens lives in all areas not just in sports and Nice Clothes and $180.00 GYMSHOES.
