BTW, I did NOT install the music program demo that came with it! I stuck with my old Cubaise Ai 5. The drivers for the sound card installed just fine on my Windows 7 64 bit computer. I hope that this helps answer some of your questions!
I have not hooked up any guitars or mikes up to this yet, so I can't help in that department. (Yeah, I bought a Motif XF8 but I don't even have a mike...lol)

KEYBOARD USERS: GET THIS
I just got one for my Motif XF, and I love it. I used to record straight into my computer, but I always lost my bass, making some pretty decent beats sound really crappy. I picked one of these suckers up and its three times better sound quality, plus I kept my bass! For dual output boards like mine, plug both left and right into the Audiobox's inputs, otherwise it will only record one half of the keyboard. I am very satisfied.

@Compatriotamorlaco I can say that the inconsiderate responses I got after submitting a support request has me thinking I made a mistake in buying it.
-
i'm getting a KSM44a you think this soundcard would go well with it? i want the best sound card to support this sick mic.
-
what do you think of the TASCAM US-800 USB audio interface?
-
some one can help me the audio box usb interface have universal control?
-
i've comapred this presonus audiobox usb with tascam us144mkII.. it's in the same price around 150$, finally i buy tascam.. it can record in 24 bit 96khz, in sound test tascam has better sound quality in my ear :), has midi, and digital i/o that this presonus don't have.. the weakness only that tascam output for monitor just 2 RCA and this has 2 TRS as this vid said.. of course the biggest competitor for usb interface is M-Audio Fast Track Pro that has more feature but that's in 250$ price :)

@Compatriotamorlaco I just returned it... I read that others were having a lot of problems with this thing as well, so I thought it best just to go with something else. I might try the Fast Track Pro. (I have the non-pro version and it works perfectly, but can only record one mic at a time).
-
@Compatriotamorlaco I agree, their costumer support is awful

I just got one, and I have the very same problem! Did you get it fixed by changing the USB as GaragebandandBeyond recommended? If not, did you get it fixed at all? Please let me know, thanks:-)
I have a question for you: I just got one of these, and any time I turn on the phantom power there is a fairly loud hissing/buzzing and high frequency noise that's going on, even when there are no microphones plugged in. The noise transfers over to the recording too, so it basically makes this thing unusable when I'm using condenser mics.
Have you ever had this happen? Could it just be a faulty unit? I've tried contacting Presonus but their customer support is basically non-existent.

@beazer32 Sounds like you have a bad cable somewhere in your line. Change the USB one first.

Can I buy 2 of these which would allow me to have up to 4 channels at once?

@pawdidit No it won't work. You would have to get the Presonus FIRESTUDIO-MOBILE

Please, please, please tell me if this thing is USB 1, 2, or 3....I've been looking everywhere and every posted comment and tech spec only says "USB bus-powered". Thanks in advance...and I just want to say I've learned plenty from your videos and have watched, I think, all of them.
Nice chops, by the way. Philly and PA in general is a real hub for the type of music you are primarily interested in, eh? I spent some time in the area and went to a few festivals. Next video, please!
