@grahamlaur point taken. actually, i really appreciate that response. it was intelligent and informed. perhaps these newfangled forms of communication (text vs. face to face) can lend themselves to misinterpretation. i suppose my response was rather flippant as well, and for that, i owe you an apology. i rarely comment on internet discussions, tho i am glad for this exchange, as it comes at a fortuitous time for as boy spinning out of control...tho, i STILL totally disagree w/ u re: this video!

@glueconcern oh, and to answer your question, I define a hipster as someone who seeks out fashions and music that are considered "hip" not out of personal interest but out of exhibitionism and the desire to use hip music and fashion to justify a sense of superiority over other people. Again, it's simply my understanding of the term. And your irony is noted - I am NOT cool.

@glueconcern oh I'm just poking fun at the video. The dual chrome color scheme, the dejected shadowy figures, the Bakshi-esque rotoscoping... it's all a little much. Really, I'm not trying to get into an argument about what does and doesn't constitute hipsterism... I was just making a flippant comment.
